Ricardo Dunin - President
Ricardo Dunin is the president and founder of Flagler Group. Founded in 1996, Flagler Group is a Miami based, multi-faceted real estate development company headquartered in the Miami Design District.
At Dunin's direction, Flagler Group has developed, and continues to develop some of Miami's landmark projects. Pioneering the condo-hotel concept, Flagler Group acquired the famed Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove, spearheading its transformation into Miami's first luxury condominium-hotel resort. Following the success of The Mutiny, Dunin also developed a neighboring site into the Mutiny Park, now known as the Sonesta Hotel & Suites Coconut Grove. Recent high-profile projects include The Meridian, an ultra-modern building of 111 luxury condominiums on South Beach and Le Sereno, a new beachfront resort on the exclusive Caribbean island of St. Barthelemy on Grand Cul-de-Sac Beach. In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he is a partner in Performance, a condo, office, and hotel development company since 2002.
Prior to forming Flagler Group, Dunin served as president and CEO of Airport Key Corporation, where he focused on industrial office parks. The company's signature project – the Miami Airport Center, a 620,000 square foot, mixed-use park adjacent to Miami International Airport – won the "Renovation of the Year Award" from the prestigious National Association of Industrial and Office Parks. Dunin studied business at Fundacao Getulio Vargas, the most prestigious business school in South America. Most recently, he studied at Cornell University, completing the Hotel Advance Management Program.
